Celibré offers two very distinct laser skin resurfacing program options. One option is ablative skin resurfacing, which involves a short period (four- to seven-days) of healing that requires downtime after the procedure. Non-ablative procedures (also referred to as “no downtime” procedures) typically require more treatments to achieve results, but do not require patients to take any time off from work or school.

Laser Resurfacing Before and After Pictures
With non-ablative (no downtime) procedures, our lasers work by stimulating collagen development at the molecular level. The laser energy "exercises" the skin, in similar fashion to how muscles respond after a workout. When heated with laser energy, the skin creates micro fine injuries below the skin surface that heal naturally by the body while new collagen is introduced.
Our ablative laser resurfacing treatment is called the Erbium Laser Micropeel, and it stimulates collagen as the skin is removed. This procedure requires a short period of "social downtime" because it removes the outermost layer of the skin. Ultimately, this treatment causes a healing reaction that completely refinishes the skin, leaving it looking younger, smoother and healthier without the memory of fine lines, surface pigmentation or acne scars.
Celibre’s laser skin resurfacing program offers two distinct options: ablative and non-ablative skin resurfacing. Ablative skin resurfacing involves a short period (4-7 days) of healing, while non-ablative procedures typically require more procedures to see results, but do not require you to take any time off.
