Juvederm is an injectable dermal filler used to shape and provide volume to the facial region. It is easy to use because it has less viscosity and therefore injects more easily than Restylane or Perlane, two of the other brands of HA fillers that we use. Since it is easily injected, it is most often used for filling the border of the lips or plumping the body of the lips.

Juvederm Treatment Before & After Pictures
During Juvederm treatment a patient is injected several times with a very fine needle in the treatment locations. Juvederm injects easily and is generally more comfortable for our patients than Restylane or Perlane. It also typically causes less swelling and bruising than other dermal fillers. Juvederm is FDA approved for up to one full year, although through our experience we have found that the treatment lasts between 4-6 months.
