When injected properly, Botox® Cosmetic relaxes the muscles, which smoothes the skin and makes wrinkles seem to disappear. If Botox® Cosmetic is not injected correctly (for example, injected into the wrong layer of tissue), it can have no effect at all, leading the patient to believe that the treatment did not work for them.

The quantity of Botox injected and the location of injection sites are determined by our licensed nurse or physician during the consultation. Botox® Cosmetic is injected with a very fine syringe that minimizes any potential discomfort, and we take additional comfort measures to ensure that your experience is positive. The effects of Botox® Cosmetic will last for about 3-4 months.
